You will prepare interactive lessons to teach adults and youth intermediate level math, some preparing to pass a High School Equivalency Test and/or Accuplacer (community college placement test) and create a comfortable, supportive classroom atmosphere to connect with diverse, non traditional and at risk learners.. This is a school year only position but there may be an opportunity for additional summer work as available.

PT 3 hours per week, T/Th 1-2:30 pm, plus prep time. $27.81 -32.96/ hour

3 years teaching experience required, particularly in math; strong preference for adult education experience. Demonstrated ability to establish supportive, encouraging relationship with students. Teacher certification preferred but not required.
