On a beautiful Saturday afternoon about 30 friends and family of Andrew Aimesbury and DALC gathered on the McConnell Center lawn for the first-ever Andrew Aimesbury Memorial Fund cornhole tournament. More than 50 Walmart volunteers donated time baking treats, making hot beverages, setting up tents and playing the game. 

Their time resulted in a $5,000 grant to DALC which will be matched by Walmart bringing the proceeds to over $10,000.

The Andrew Aimesbury Memorial Fund supports scholarships for adult students who graduated from or are currently enrolled in DALC to support further education and training. Education expenses such as books, tuition, equipment and childcare are eligible for consideration. Requests are accepted year round.
