There are a variety of volunteer opportunities at DALC.
Tutor – individual students or two or three students together; at the McConnell Center, in the community or Tutor at Strafford County jail.
Team Tutor – work as part of a team working with a group of students
Childcare Help – our Childcare Program runs during day classes in Dover
Computer Lab Proctor – help in our open computer lab times in the evening or during the day as an aide and/or in classes with our Technology Integrator
Floating Classroom Aide – assist teachers during day or evening classes in either Dover or in Rochester
Administrative Aides – Be part of a team who helps with various office tasks from answering phones, copying, and filing to setting up and monitoring student testing sessions (Day and evening times available in both Dover and Rochester locations
Special events -help with such as graduation, culture celebration, mid- and end-of year celebrations
Drivers – transport students to and from classes
